Special Class Placement 2026 - Parents who are considering a special class placement for their child from September 2026 that they must apply to the Special Educational Needs Organiser (SENO) for an eligibility letter in line with Circular 39/2025. Please note:
An eligibility letter from the NCSE is a mandatory requirement for enrolment in a special class.
Applications to the SENO must be submitted no later than October 1st, 2025.
Without this letter, children cannot be considered for placement in a special class.

The whole school enjoyed a fabulous tour of Fota Island Wildlife Park. The rangers and guides were amazing. They were fonts of knowledge about each of the species and their habitats, which was pitched perfectly for each age group. The pupils loved the afternoon activities in the woods and the stop in Fermoy for lunch. All in all a great success.
